Phone VS Computer

Do you own a phone or computer? If you do, maybe you have wondered which is better. Each is better in multiple different ways than the other. Phones are mobile, but computers have bigger screens. Phones are cheaper, but computers can get more games. The way to know if one is better than the other is to ask the people.

After we did our survey we discovered that phones are more popular than computer and other devices.  23 people voted for phones, 17 voted for computers, and 5 voted for other devices.

In my opinion, 2018 will be be a great year and

we will gain lots of new trends but for now 2018

is up for a good start.

NO Tide Pods! No!

  People all around the world are EATING

them! WHY?  Videos circulating on social

media are showing kids biting into brightly

colored liquid laundry-detergent packets, or

cooking them in frying pans and then chewing

them up before spewing the soap from their

mouths.  Have you ever thought about doing

this challenge? Well, don’t! 100%: Do not do this! It’s laundry detergent,

and it goes with your clothes; not in your mouth. Tide Pods are made out

of poisonous chemicals like borax and sodium hydroxide.  Both of these

things will kill you.  It all started with a meme. Then, people have posted

YouTube videos of them eating them for attention.  Now, it has gone too

far and people are actually eating them.  But stay strong, because, hopefully,

YouTube will end it and the trend. They are taking the videos off YouTube.

So YAAA for YouTube.

Starter VS Pro

Roblox is a free app in the app store,where you can play online and explore lots of different games. That’s what leads to the starters.

~Starters~

Starters or guests are people who have not bought ROBUX yet.  They can play most all the games on Roblox.  When you go into Roblox you sign in and create a user name, then you start playing.  You can play in games with your friends.  I facetime Marina and we talk and play Roblox.  On Roblox starter, when you go to your home page you have a slide or your friend’s box and that's where it shows all of your friends.  You can buy Robux and that leads us to the pro or advanced group.

~Pro~

Pro’s are players that have been playing for a long time and they have ROBUX.  You have to pay with real money, Robux are just like real money, except in the game.  Pro’s may call starters NOOBS because they have no Robux and they might not care how they look.  Some Pros are kind and sweet because they were Noobs once too.  When they started Roblox they did the same thing starters do.

NFL Playoffs

This year’s elite eight in the NFL

are the Titans, Steelers, Falcons,

Eagles, Saints, Patriots, Vikings,

Jaguars.   

FALCONS v.EAGLES

As you may know that the Falcons

and Eagles will go against each

other on Sat. 1/13 at 3:35pm. At the

station right now everyone on the

crew says that the Eagles will win,

but you never know it could be a

very close game.  So, the Eagles  

have got an absolute awesome

offense and their defense is good

or some say great ,soo….                                                    

That's why we are betting on the

Eagles ,so hopefully this article

won't jinx them.  Now, the Falcons  

offense have been dynamic, their defene

have been okay, and they

even have had quite a few pick 6's.

 TITANS v. PATRIOTS

In the Divisional Round, the Titans

and Patriots are going head to

head on Saturday January the

13th. The Titan vs. Patriots could

be a very close game. To start  

off, the quarterback matchup,

for the Titans they have Marcus

Mariota that can be very concerning.

He can do everything: throw, rush,

and we even saw him catch against

the Chiefs. Now, Tom Brady is a

whole other story. He may not be

able to catch very well, but he is

capable of creating clutch plays

when it's needed.  Last year in

Super Bowl LI he came back from a

21 to 3 deficit against the falcons and one

in OT 34-28. Yet, defense will be key.

The Patriots defense has been on

point, but the Titans haven’t been

very good this year so it might be

all offense for the Titans.

Saints v Vikings

This could be a very close game.

They are very evenly matched

but we all decided the Saints

would win.  Even though Drew

Brees hasn’t been at the top of

his game lately they still have

top players like Alvin Kamara

and Stephone Anthony.  But the

offense hasn’t been too good  

lately. Though, saying that, brings

us to the fact that their defense

has been better than ever before

as we saw against the Panthers

last weekend.  And there’s the fact

the Vikings o’line got really beat

up last season. Even if the Vikings offense

is doing good(that’s in your opinion no one

can agree on them)they can’t get anything

done without defense.

JAGS V. STEELERS

The final game in the divisional

round is the Jags up against the Steelers.

This game might be close considering the

Jags defense has been on point this year.

Although the Steelers have a very good

offense this game might come down to both

of the teams' strongs. For the Jags it’s

defense and, for Steelers it’s the offense.

If either one of them wants to win, they have

to step up their game a ton!

 Mrs. Fleming’s
Library Plans

What are mrs. Fleming’s plans for the library?

We are going to interview Mrs. fleming to find out her plans.  

  We interviewed Mrs. Fleming about changes in the library.

We asked her what her plans were for it, and she said

she wanted to take the castle out of the library, and add

more seating like bean bags and new chairs with flexible

seating. She also got new centers. She says she misses

teaching 8th grade math, but she loves it here.  I hope she

stays at Village a long time.

Falcons VS Eagles Playoffs

Who do you think will win? The Falcons have

not had a good season, but they still have a

chance to beat the Eagles. The Eagles have

had a good season for the past 2 months,

but there QB, Carson Wentz, got hurt so

they both might have a chance to win.
