To Ponder
By:Giovannie .I
It's an honor to ponder
An honor to ask why
Why this why that
Why here why there
Why live to die
Why drink to thirst
O what an honor it is to ponder
An honor indeed.
To Ponder
It's an honor to ponder
An honor to ask why
Why this why that
Why here why there
Why live to die
Why drink to thirst
O what an honor it is to ponder
An honor indeed.
Titanic the ´´Unsinkable´´ Ship
By: Zechariah
Is the Titanic really unsinkable or is that just what they thought? The first trip on the Titanic was on April 10, 1912. Most people were excited about the trip to America ready to start a new life. Everyone was told that the Titanic was unsinkable because it had so many safety features such as a double bottom frame, every room was watertight; these features made the ship almost unsinkable so they thought. On April 10, 1912, everyone boarded the ship and everything was going well. A few days later the weather started to get really cold. They started getting Wired warnings of icebergs. While everyone was asleep they saw that there was an iceberg ahead the ship captain tried to turn the huge ship but he did not do it in time so they struck the iceberg.
Everyone was trying to get a safety boat but there were only 20 taken in mind there are 1,178 people on this bout and only 20 safety bouts. Many people died that day from the freezing water, some people on the safety bouts even died of starvation and many other things. This was a very sad day for England. The ship was not unsinkable as they thought.
Cinderella: A Better Ending
By: Bella Pursley
(This is a horror story that includes gruesome violence, most of this story is from the original. If you do not like horror, please cover your ears. I warned you so you are not allowed to sue me. Have fun)
Have you ever heard of Cinderella? Well even if you haven’t, trust me you are going to like this a lot……
There once was a handmaiden who lived with her stepmother and stepsisters. They treated her terribly, making her do the dishes and clean everything. She was a slave to her stepmother and stepsisters. Cleaning everything in sight, with a little help now and then. She loved the birds. She could sing with her most beautiful voice and they would come and help, they loved her back. Every year the prince and the king held an annual party at their castle inviting most of the kingdom. This year was the year when Cinderella’s stepsisters tried to get the king to fall for them. Cinderella desperately wanted to go, she had an idea. She would just go and ask her stepmother, it probably wouldn’t work but she might as well try. She walked up to her stepmother and told her she wanted to go to the dance. Her stepmother looked at her and realized she was being serious. Her stepmother burst into laughter so loud anyone in the house could hear her. At that moment Cinderella’s stepsisters ran down the stairs and asked what was so funny. Cinderella responded by saying: I want to go to the dance with you. Her stepsisters immediately started laughing with their mother. Cinderella was very embarrassed. She ran to her room and started crying. She was left at home cleaning while her stepfamily was at the party with the king. All of a sudden a fairy godmother showed up and help Cinderella. In an instant, Cinderella looked like a princess. She ran as fast at she could to the castle, thinking of the prince. When she got to the party the prince greeted her and offered to dance. They danced the night away. When the grandfather clock struck twelve at midnight, Cinderella began to run. She ran down the stairs of the castle and tripped, leaving a glass slipper behind. She started running into the forest. She got stuck in a bear trap. She started to yell but no one could hear. She died alone because of starvation. The prince, not knowing this horrifying event had happened, started to search. He took the one glass slipper that had been left behind. He searched the whole village not finding a match to the shoe. There was only one house left. He was absolutely positive that she was in this house. Of course, this was the stepmother and stepsister’s house. He went and knocked on the door. The stepmother answered and greeted him into their home. She made him some tea and asked why he was there full well knowing that he was searching for his “Happily Ever After”. She thought she could fool the king into thinking that the princess he was looking for was one of her own daughters. The stepmother only did this for two reasons: Money and Fame across the kingdom. She called her daughters downstairs and they were amazed to see the king in their living room drinking their tea. The stepmother told the king to wait in the other room while she went to go talk to her daughters. She told them the plan and said this: “If you screw this up you will not be allowed to live under my roof for the rest of your life.”. Her children nodded and agreed to the terms. The first sister went up to the king but the shoe was too big. The second sister tried but the shoe was too big as well. The mother was determined. She went to the kitchen and grabbed a knife. She went up to the first sister and chopped off part of her foot. The chunk she had cut she threw into the backyard for the crows. The first sister tried on the slipper and this time it fit! She nearly got away with it until one of the king’s guards saw the blood stain the glass slipper. The mother went back into the kitchen this time she got a cheese grater. She went to the second sister’s foot and started shaving off the skin. The sister wanted to cry out in pain but she knew that if she did the prince would hear her and she would blow it. She held in her pain and screams. The mother went and got the glass slipper from where it had been before. They tried on the shoe and it fit like it was meant to be. She walked out to where the prince was waiting, holding her mom’s side the whole time. When the time came for the sister to ride off with the king on his horse, she failed. No matter what had happened she wouldn’t have been able to get on the horse. She could barely walk with the foot shortening she had. As soon as she tried to get on the horse she collapsed on the ground and started to scream. This made the king look back at the mother. She was staring at him with a look on her face that made you think she was going to murder you. All of a sudden she started to move like an old jester that had been kept in a dungeon all his life. She immediately attacked the king and he died. She wasn’t able to get the rest of the guards but they got her. They also went after their children but they had disappeared. It looks like the prince got his “happily ever after” after all. He got to see his princess after all.
