Top 3 Songs of the Month                                By: Andrew Hardt
This article is about  the Top 3 Songs of the Month.
Everyone loves music because  it is fun to listen to and sing, but these are the top three songs that  people in fifth grade like.

  1. Heathens By Twenty One Pilots
  2. Ju Ju on the Beat [clean version] By: Zay hilfiger and Zaylon Mc Call
  3. P.E.M.D.A.S by: Mister C

P.E.M.D.A.S is the order of operations in math: Parenthesis,Exponents,Multiply,or Divide,Add and Subtract it is as  easily as that to  use P.E.M.D.A.S to get it right.
Music affects people in different ways, if the music has a catchy rhythm and is upbeat it makes you happy, and if it is low and melancholy, then it makes you sad.
I prefer Happy music because it is Happy and makes you want to dance rather than cry.

For  God so loved  the world,  that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not  perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you ,plans to  give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

5th Grade
Comic Strips
Starring: Paul Revere
By:  Arianna Franco

“As soon as Paul walked into the battle, he was in trouble!”

Right now, in 5th grade, we are learning about the F-A-M-O-U-S… PAUL REVERE!!!!! In Mrs. knudsen’s class, we are making comic strips all about Paul Revere. Believe it or not, these comics are worth a lot of our grade! The boxes have to be PERFECT! Your coloring has to be good, and when you draw it can’t look sloppy! MMM MMM NO MA’AM IT CAN’T!!! I liked making the comics because it gives you a way to express yourself comically. Any of the people that are going to be in 5th grade next year, I hope you know what is coming!

The British are coming, the British are coming!!!!”- Paul Revere

Alamo
By: Arianna F Ashlyn S Samuel S

We wanted to interview Mrs.Seaman on The Alamo play because we all thought it was really cool. Here is what we got.

Journalists: How do you think they did?
Mrs.Seaman: I think they did amazing. Everyone knew their lines. Everybody worked together, and I think they had a great performance.
Journalists: What was your favorite part? Mrs.Seaman: I think my favorite part was each one of the characters really got into their character to believe that that was a real person that they were performing.
Journalists: Will you continue letting old Village people sing at the night program?
Mrs.Seaman: I think we started a tradition that I believe we should have more and more come back and do the ending song. That was amazing and fun and I think it brought everybody together and it made the students that performed happy and made the students happy.
Journalists: Will you do a sequel to the Alamo?
Mrs.Seaman: Yes, we can write the San Jacinto one day, yes.

That’s what we got from Mrs.Seaman. If you saw the Alamo play I hope you enjoyed it!
