Valentines Cupcakes

We are here to tell you how to make a delicious and fun Valentine’s
cupcake. If you love to bake and don’t mind getting messy this is
just for you! Let's get started!


       Here are the supplies you will need for this:


  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup of cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder.,
  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of espresso powder
  • ½ cup of milk
  • ¼ cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup of boiling water
  • Vanilla buttercream


Here are the steps to making these wonderful cupcakes:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place cupcake liners in muffin tin. Spray lightly

   with cooking spray.
  1. Add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda,
  salt, and espresso powder to a large bowl and put
  aside for later.
  1. In a different bowl,(make sure this bowl is large)
   add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla and mix on medium
   speed until well combined.
  1. Slowly add all the dry ingredients to the wet
   ingredients and mix well , then add the boiling water
   to the cake batter.
  1. Evenly distribute cake batter. Each cupcake liner should
   be about half way full.
  1. Place in the oven and bake until completely risen
  for about 18-20 minutes.
  1. When your timer goes off stick in a toothpick to
  see if they are done. If the toothpick comes out clean
  they are done if not add more time to the cupcakes.
     Now it is time to frost them but make sure they are completely
cool or else your frosting will melt. Cooling time will take about
one hour to hour and a half. Here are the supplies you will need to
make your delicious buttercream frosting.
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract or you can use almond extract
  • ⅓ cup soft butter
  • 1 pound powdered sugar

And combine in a mixing bowl. Hope you enjoy these delicious cupcakes.
